Terms of Use
  1. By using CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform.
  2. The Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS), The University of Hong Kong may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by the CEDARS. Your continued use of CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
  3. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform  content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform content requires the prior written permission of the CEDARS.
  4. Where you are invited to submit any contribution to the CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform , you warrant that your contribution
    1. is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to the CEDARS to use, publish, translate, make available to the public, and exercise all publicity rights with respect to your contribution.
    2. is not defamatory; and
    3. does not infringe any law; and
    4. indemnify the CEDARS against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by the CEDARS as a result of your breach of the above warranty; and
    5. waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to and publication on CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform and the purposes specified above.


The views expressed on CEDARS Digital Multimedia Platform are the views of the presenters and so not necessarily reflect the views of The University of Hong Kong.
